Work History
 

Thames Hospital Counselling and Community Social Worker (1989 - 1996).
 
Mahurangi  Family Counselling (mid-1996 - 1999).
 
Waitemata District Health Board Counselling and Community Social worker (1998 - 2001).
 
Private Practice as General Therapist (2000 - 2003).
 
Locum at Taranaki Mental Health while establishing current practice as Specialist Sex Therapist (2003).
 
 
Jane is a Member of the ANZASW (Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social workers) and
a Registered Health Professional. 
 
She attends the bi-annual Sexual Dysfunction Conferences held in New Zealand and Australia and attended Robyn Salisbury's (Sex Therapy New Zealand) sex therapy training 2001 and 2003.

A regular participant in American-based internet conferences on sexuality and relationships, Jane is also a founding Member of the Auckland-based Sex Therapy Interest Group established in 2001 and has an eclectic approach to therapy, influenced by models and theories such as The
Crucible Approach, Emotional Focus Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and ACT.
