Jane is a qualified clinical social worker and health professional with special training in issues related to sex and relationships.

• Taranaki Mental Health Community and Clinical Social Worker (2003 – 2005).
• Private practice (2000 – 2022).

Jane is a Member of the ANZASW (Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social workers) and a Registered Health Professional.

Jane keeps up with the latest developments in the field. She was a regular attendee at the NZ Australia Sexual Dysfunction Conferences held in New Zealand and Australia and attended Robyn Salisbury's (Sex Therapy New Zealand) sex therapy training 2001 and 2003.
A regular participant in American-based internet conferences on sexuality and relationships, Jane is also a founding Member of the Auckland-based Sex Therapy Interest Group established in 2001.

Jane has an eclectic approach to therapy, influenced by models and theories such as The Crucible Approach, Emotional Focus Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassionate Therapy, ACT and the Developmental Model.

Taranaki residents will remember Jane's radio show "Bonding with Jane" in 2009/10.
